PATTENT ATTORNEY

Mr. Yanase received his Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Osaka University in 1979, and qualified as a Patent Attorney in 1994. Prior to setting up his own patent firm, he got experience working for an electric/electronic product manufacturer and patent firms. In the manufacturer, he was in charge of circuit design. His specialized fields of patent practice mainly include domestic and foreign applications regarding household electrical appliances, electric/electronic components such as small motors and switches, electrical equipment for automobiles, amusement machines (slot machine and print seal machine) and machine construction. He is in charge of infringement litigation as well.

Mr. Kimura received his Master's degree in Communication Engineering from Osaka University in 1994. Before joining Yanase Patent Attorneys Office in April 2016, he got experience working for a heavy industries manufacturer and a patent firm. His specialized fields of patent practice mainly include electrical engineering/electronics, semiconductors, and control. He qualified as a Patent Attorney in 2001 and as a Specific Infringement Lawsuits Counsel in 2009.
